At only 12 in that's weaker than AI Prime 16HD's stated 100 PAR at 24 in, so it's listed here as low light. NICREW says one light supports saltwater fish, live rock, soft coral and LPS corals, suggests two for low-light SPS, and highly recommends a glass or acrylic cover.
